Don't Label Me a Mommy Blogger.

Don't get me wrong, I love being a Mom and I love being a blogger. But recently I've felt a push against being labelled a Mommy Blogger.

What I Packed For My Holiday Abroad.

Summer is very daunting to me. Anything that involves me getting my 'mom bod' out, scares me to bits. So the idea of going abroad and lying round a swimming pool in a bikini was pretty daunting. I decided that instead of running from the situation, I would find and pack things that made me feel comfortable and happy.

Going back to work after having a baby.

Going back to work for me was a really tough decision. I didn't have a job when I was pregnant so I had to find my way into the career I studied hard at university for, whilst juggling a family. For me I didn't have a 'time is up, go back to work' situation because during my maternity I was hunting for a job.

9 Things I Like About Myself.

I find it very difficult to speak positively about myself. I was recently asked to write 150 words about myself to be put on the website of my new job. I was in such a panic because I couldn't think about five nice things to say about myself, other than I am a mom. That's all I could think of.

Introducing Cutlery with Doddl | AD

Parenting for me has been one big game with infinite levels. Every time I feel like I've mastered something, such as nap time, Something else pops up like teaching Ru how to use cutlery. Also being a first time mum means I have to just have to follow what Ru wants to do and hope for the best.

Encouraging Early Education with Learning Resources Toys | AD

Now that Rupert is getting older, he is getting more and more interested in games that challenge him. He loves to play with toys that build, break apart and keep him thinking for longer periods of time. He has found a huge sudden interest for blocks, buttons and books. But as with anything when it comes to kids, it's hard to find a toy that will grow with him and continue to challenge him as he enters his toddler years.

A day in the life of a working mum.

Being a working mom is something I've fort hard for. I didn't have a job when I fell pregnant and my little blog, which started as something to kill time whilst I was a huge human baby carrier, has turned into a 'kind-of' job for me. I'm lucky that my blog creates an income for my little family.
