My 2018 Beauty Favourites.

2018 was a brilliant year for me, in more ways than one. It was an extremely busy year and self care really took a back seat, I wasn't buying as much makeup as I had in previous years. My priorities had dramatically changed and I was no longer interested in trying new trends.

New releases and trends weren't something I was interested in anymore. I had way more important things to spend my money on and I didn't really have the time to be getting into full glam/ trying new products every day.

I started building a trusty travel bag that was full of reliable products that I new were trusty and diverse.

Having a baby means I have around 10 minutes max to get ready in a day and that's if I even attempt makeup. I keep my kit quite small so I can take it with me when we have overnight stays, which happens frequently.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, A product I swore by the whole of my time as a student. I fell out of love with this product briefly, not sure why but I did. Over the past eight months or so I've found myself falling back in love with it.

Not only is it great coverage but it has incredible wearability and durability. A lot can happen in a day with me, especially now that I am running around after a crawling baby. So having a foundation that lasts all day, doesn't budge and has amazing coverage is perfect.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit was gifted to me this Mother's Day. Not only is this a great palette for highlighting but is regularly being used for eyeshadow. Using it for both means I don't have to carry around two palettes with me. Only one is needed.

The palette has incredible buildability and gives a gorgeous natural glow without being powdery or streaky.

Whilst we're on the topic of Anastasia Beverly Hills products, Their brow dip pomade.
I was a little sceptical when I first purchased this item because it was very different to the usual brow products I use. But it gives a lovely subtle natural eyebrow. Allows me to build a great shape and have a more dramatic brow on nights out.

The Benefit They're Real Mascara is both brilliant and reliable. My eyelashes aren't the best and by that I mean they are very short and uneven.
This mascara evens out my lashes and makes them long without clumping them up. Can't rave about this product enough. Quick and easy to use.

NYX Dewy finish spray is fantastic for keeping my makeup in place and my face looking hydrated and glowy. This easy to use spray is my go-to product especially on days out and special occasions. I know my makeup won't budge if I use this spray. Life saving product.

Finally, to my forever and always Laura Mercier translucent powder. Not like most powders it doesn't dry out your face. The powder is perfect for setting your face and keeping everything in place. I highly recommend this powder to everyone. Great for all uses.
