I'm coming back to you with another beauty box review. I have absolutely loved diving into the world of beauty again after having my babies, taking the time to really get back into the things I enjoy rather than something I have to do because I am a mom.
I took a lot of time out from the beauty world when I had my children, I just didn't have the time anymore. But now I have a little more time on my hands I am dipping my toes back in. A lot has changed though, it has been around three years and I've come back to a largely saturated space. There are way more brands, techniques and products out there.
It can be so expensive when trying out loads of products, you pick up things that you've seen others using only to find it doesn't work well for your skin. The trialling process can really add up and end up being a huge waste of time too.
Beauty subscription boxes are a really great way to try new brands and products without splashing the cash. You can find ones that cater to your needs, problems or ones that give you a huge range to try out.
The Bon Voyage beauty box caters for those who want to be whisked away with beauty products from all over. Most of these products are travel size too, so not only do you have a good sized product to try out but you don't waste loads of product if you don't like it.
Also when things get a little more normal these items can be packed and taken away with you.
The Bon Voyage box is full of a range of different products from skincare to makeup, meaning you can try a range of items from across the spectrum.
Isle of Paradise Tanning Water (60ml) - This self-tanning water features green colour correcting actives to help cancel red tones and provide a perfect golden tan. I am very excited to try this as alternative to my usual fake tan which can be very drying on the skin. I think a water style tanning product would be very hydrating. This is a lightweight formula which is infused with avocado, coconut and chia seed oils. Not only is Isle of Paradis organic, but it is also vegan-friendly and cruelty-free.
This has been trialled on my face which came out as a very natural.
This is a well known brand and have used products from them before, great to see a mixture of well known and smaller brands in the box.
I suffer with pores so the porefining face mask was a lovely product to use, it really cleaned out my skin.
Let's go back in time with a very old school style product. INC.redible Roller Baby The Original Rollerball Gloss. Roller baby is a gloss for all-day shine. I haven't used a standard gloss for a while but it has really come back into fashion lately. Something I didn't think would suit me so having it within this box allowed me to try it without slashing out on one.
Packed with natural actives to boost nourishment, hydration and plumpness, this gloss is designed to glide over your lips seamlessly to create an enviable wet-look mirror shine.
It is something that I really needed within my skincare and it was really easy to work with on my skin.
Balance Me Vitamin C Repair Serum, supposed to be a powerful and lightweight serum that has been designed to intensely hydrate, plump and brighten your complexion while at the same time helping to reduce pigmentation and uneven skin tone.
I have really uneven skin, especially around my nose so this was very welcomed.
This box was really great, every product would work with most people. But with subscription boxes you pay a fixed prices which is way under what you would pay for the price of the items, so even if everything isn't for you you're still saving money.
It was one of the best subscription boxes I have tried in a long time, 100% recommend.
Box was gifted in exchange for a review but all my opinions are my own. Please see my disclaimer for more information.
