Inside June's Rocca Box | AD

Here I am again with another Rocca Box review. The beauty subscription service is one of the best around, the monthly box is delivered to your door filled with a mixture of full sized and sample sized products from both huge brands and smaller companies. So let's dive into June's delights.

So a major benefit of a subscription box is you always get way more for your money. The £10 a month (other payment options available) box, delivers between five and six beauty products to your door that, if you were to buy individually, would cost you way more money.

Another great thing is you get to try products and brands you otherwise would probably have never tried. In the past I have found some incredible products and brands that I would never have used before but am totally in love with now.

But you might be a little sceptical that the products you receive might not be for you. Even if the items aren't for you, you get to try them out without the hefty price tag and let me tell you you'll be a bit more popular when it comes to dishing them out to friends and family.

Starting off with the hero product of the pack: The Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner is designed to make messy eyeliner a thing of the past. The full sized item is inspired by Japanese calligraphy and is really easy to apply.

This isn't a brand that I would have gone to for my eyeliner as I am pretty stuck in my Soap and glory ways but this is a really great product. It is really easy to apply and a pigmented black colour that doesn't fade as the day goes on. It has really made me want to explore the brand more as this product is so good.

This product alone is worth more than the box price so it's 100% worth it. You're saving money on this item and getting a few more products along side.

RRP £16.

The Charles Worthington Diamond Shine Shampoo & Conditioner is an amazing duo that comes in deluxe travel size. Perfect for some lockdown hair relief, the shampoo and conditioner helps to banish dull looking hair and gives it a much needed sparkle.

The size means you get a good few washes out of the product, allowing you time to decide if the product works for you and your hair.

This is a brand I have heard of before but it was really nice to try products of theirs that I hadn't used before.

RRP £4.

A full sized product from BeautyPro, The Rejuvenating Collagen Sheet Mask. The green tea face mask targets problematic skin, reduces redness and balances the natural oils. I mean who doesn't love a good a good face mask right? The light face mask is really easy to apply and is great for relaxing evenings.

It only takes up fifteen minutes of your time so this is a great one for the busy bees like myself.

RRP £4.95.

The Avant Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti-Oxidising DUO Moisturiser comes in a deluxe travel size but is perfect for those wanting to try out a new luxurious product. The creamy Moisturiser comes in a handy tube, giving you enough product to try it out and see if you want more. The cream is worth double the price of the box to buy, another reason to sign up if you ask me.

It contains Avocado oil which intently hydrates and softens the skin, helping to fight small fine lines and hydrates the skin.

The product is extremely easy to apply and worked really well on my skin over the short period I used it in.

RRP £20.

MAYY, The Velvet Hydro Matte Lipstick. This full sized product is perfect in every way, the packaging is not only GORGEOUS but the lipstick shade is the most subtle nude.

It applies so smoothly and the pigment is insane. It is one of those colours that goes with every and any look, from staying in to going out (to your local Sainsbury's).

The super soft and hydrating velvet formula provides the perfect colour without drying out and wearing off. It is a paraben free formula with Vitamin E. An essential for any woman in my eyes.

RRP £25.

Overall, I think this was another amazing month for Rocca Box, probably my favourite so far. Not every product in the past has been a hit with me but this box is full of amazing products that I will use and probably buy again for full price. There was a huge range of products from makeup to skincare and hair care. I have really enjoyed this month.

The monthly box has been a nice treat during lockdown and I always look forward to its arrival.

I am being gifted monthly boxes in exchange for a review on my blog, all my opinions are still my own. Please see my disclaimer page for more information.

  6. I’ve been looking for a new liquid eyeliner and I love the look of that one! I’ve always found the pen/felt tip type ones best but some brands are really rubbish and the black isn’t black enough or always fades! Might have to invest in that one! Caitylis x x
